THE COMPLETE LIST: Leroy Jethro Gibbs has rules that he enforces with everyone on his team, in 3x05 "Switch" he told Ziva that there are approximately fifty rules. However, not all of the rules have been revealed. Here are the rules that have been revealed so far:

Rule #1: Never let suspects stay together.

Rule #1: Never screw over your partner. 4x14 'Blowback'

Rule #2: Always wear gloves at a crime scene.

 ...I was living in a Chicago suburb raising my three boys when I got the call about being on the show.  It was a guest-starring arc that would be about six episodes. The role was of the new Director of the agency, and things were made complicated because she had a ´past’ with the lead agent, Jethro , played by Mark Harmon.

Getting the role

The funny thing was, I knew of the show from a couple of years before. Mark and I had spent a year together on  ”Chicago Hope,” and so became acquaintances from work. As I understood it, they were having some trouble casting the girl who would be one of the agents on the show and Mark thought I might fit the bill. He faxed me a lot of info on the real agency on which the show was based and helped facilitate a meeting between myself and the creator, Don Bellisario. That was an exciting meeting for me to have. He had been involved in some of the greatest television - “Rockford Files,” “Magnum PI,” etc. We had a great chat, and I tried to make him love me, but alas - he did not.

Navy CIS (NCIS) premiered on CBS on September 23, 2003. This series is an action drama inspired by the hit series JAG, about a team of special agents whose mission is to investigate any crime that has a shred of evidence connected to Navy and Marine Corps personnel, regardless of rank or position. Yeah, that can get pretty annoying. But, I've been looking up who all of you fellow MW fans think he looks like, and I've added my own opinions to yours!

Chris Pines (Star Trek) — YES! I think him and MW look quite a bit alike. Only Chris is younger, and probably wouldn't make a very good Anthony DiNozzo!

Since our site's inception, we've celebrated many brilliant scenes illustrating the comic genius behind Michael Weatherly's portrayal of Tony DiNozzo.  In researching sites, blogs, and bios of Michael and toting facts about him, I began to discover the imaginative, witty manner of the man as well as the character he plays.  I'd like to share a few quotes with you from the lighter side of one of our favorite special agents.

Interview with TV Guide:

Q: What do you like to do with your teenager, August?

A:  I try to get him to do stuff he wouldn’t normally do. I tried to get him to go ice skating; that was a no-go. We go to concerts; we’ve seen The Police, Elvis Costello, Evanescence. He is an exceptionally cool dude, and I think, “Get ready, world!"

Michael Weatherly & Steve McQueen: Kings of Cool

In the NCIS episode "SWAK," Tony lauds John Travolta as the "King of Cool" but c'mon -- that's a writing goof, obviously. Any Steve McQueen freak of DiNozzo's ilk knows that the King of Cool is McQueen. (Note to Michael Weatherly, himself among the world's biggest McQueen fans: Dude, seriously? You knew that, too. Shouldn't you have said "Hold it! Get me rewrite!" Just kidding. Kind of.)

So between Michael Weatherly, the huge McQueen fan, and the late, great Steve McQueen himself, who would rule the Kings of Cool pool? Michael, with his lady-killer smile, many lovely girlfriends, acting ventures, love  of music, quick wit and intelligence? Or the man himself, McQueen, who set the standard with his lady-killer smile, many lovely girlfriends, acting ventures, love of music, quick wit and intelligence and car and motorcycle racing?
