The 2010 NCIS season finale provided a nice end to the seventh season. The 2010 NCIS season finale might not be considered ground-breaking by any means, but there were several new story arcs that could really add interesting sub-plots to the eighth season of the show. There are going to be a few spoilers from the seventh season finale ahead, so be prepared for that if you want to keep on reading news about one of the more intriguing episodes.
Heading into the 2010 NCIS season finale, there had been a number of rumors that a major character was going to die, and when contract talks stalled between some of the stars and producers, it seemed like fuel to that rumor. Well let's put your mind at ease and reveal that no major character lost their life in the NCIS season finale. A supporting character did die in the form of Colonel Merton Bell (played by Robert Patrick), but that was a death that many fans might have cheered due to his nefarious existence on the show.

Michael Weatherly has launched a campaign to persuade U.S. TV bosses to let him show off his singing skills in a musical episode of hit crime series "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service". Weatherly, who plays Agent Tony DiNozzo opposite actor Mark Harmon on the series, showcased his musical talents on the "NCIS" soundtrack, and now he's dreaming up plans for the detective pair to sing and dance on the program.
He tells the New York Post, "If there's a crime show that can get away with it, we're on it... Mark Harmon has done some cowboy singing in the past." But Weatherly admits convincing TV bosses to sign off on the idea has been a challenge: "We have talked about it... there are certain people that think that it would be a disaster."
Michael Weatherly recently told TV Guide about his return to "NCIS", saying "I'm very excited to come back. I have the best job on television and the best character. I have an extremely talented team of folks that I've been working with for a long time who are in negotiations. It's ongoing, but I'm extremely positive."

Mark Harmon is not Leroy Jethro Gibbs. — But he is a team player.
Mark Harmon sat down with PBS syndicated talk show host Tavis Smiley to discuss NCIS. He talked about the show being a team effort.
Harmon isn't like Gibbs. He doesn't have the sharp edge. He isn't closed preferring to play his cards close to his vest. He's open and instantly likeable. He doesn't dole out head slaps.
Tavis asks Harmon how the show has lasted for seven seasons against American Idol. (See Video Below)

If you’re not watching NCIS Los Angeles, you’re missing out.NCIS LA, the spin off of NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) has become a huge hit even though it’s in its first season. This new CBS show stands on its own—you don’t have to be a fan of the original NCIS to enjoy this action packed show. You’ll tune in to see great looking actors, likeable characters, strong writing featuring sarcastic and witty dialogue, the backdrop of LA beaches plus lots of awesome cutting edge technology…what else could you want?
NCIS LA, a branch of NCIS, and also known as the Office of Special Projects (OSP) is appointed with the monumental task of capturing dangerous individuals who pose serious threats to national security.
One of the most important aspects of NCIS LA and what makes it one of my new favorites is the rapport and chemistry of the ensemble cast. The group meshes well together and its snappy and amusing banter keeps the show extremely entertaining and the viewer wanting more. Not only are they taking down the bad guys and dedicated to each other but they mix in laughter and other fun activities like, believe it or not, karaoke nights.

David McCallum Confirms 'NCIS' Return
David McCallum has confirmed that he is returning for the next season of NCIS.
Yesterday, McCallum was named as one of four cast members who are seeking pay rises from CBS.
However, McCallum's manager Abe Hoch has now explained that the actor already has a contract for the eighth season.
"I'm sure some of the others are negotiating, but he's not affected by it," Hoch told TV Guide magazine. "He falls into the Mark Harmon/Rocky Carroll category [of people who already have contracts]. He's signed for additional seasons."
Hoch added: "He's excited to be coming back to the show and can't wait to see everybody."
The season finale of NCIS will air Tuesday at 8//7c on CBS.

'NCIS' Fan Columnist: Gibbs Falls Deeper Down the Rabbit Hole
And someone is trying to prove it.
I hope you didn't miss a moment of NCIS last night. You didn't sneeze or go for a drink. If you did then you missed Gibbs, as we have never seen him. He is experiencing a situation outside of his control. And he isn't confiding in his team.
Mark Harmon is intense playing a tormented Gibbs. He shows the storm brewing just beneath the surface, a hurricane that Gibbs is trying to control. But things are out of his hands. His past is the catalyst for his future.
