I want to thank you for stopping in your busy day to look at these items. We are doing this auction to raise money for my father's medical fund. He was placed on the LIVER TRANSPLANT list in April 2010, after battling for the past 15 years with Autoimmune Hepatitis, which has caused severe liver damage that ultimately resulted in Stage 4 cirrhosis. It's been a tough 8 months, and though he is still extremely ill, he holds on strong because of the immense support that surrounds him.

Brandon Schoonover was 18 years old when he contacted salmonella poisoning of the bloodstream. He recovered, but it left him with Autoimmune Hepatitis. he has been chronically ill for the last 15 years. Brandon has been employed by William H. Lane Inc. as a union carpenter for the past 14 years, but in December (2009) he took a turn for the worse and was hospitalized for 4 weeks. Brandon has been struck down with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC), a bile duct disease and he is presently on a waiting list for a liver transplant. He is now incapacitated and how long that condition will continue is unknown. It will be dependent upon when he receives the transplant and how long the recovery will be after the transplant.
Brandon, his wife Debbie, and his parents have and will continue to incur very substantial medical and other ancillary costs in fighting this debilitating disease. Any support you can give will go a long way to assist Brandon with transplant expenses.
